In their mission to introduce easy to prepare gourmet cuisine to the Sri Lankan kitchens; Ma’s Food Processing has recently introduced an organic Italian range. The new range is rapidly gaining popularity among the adventurous foodies and is ready to turn your meal time in to a gastronomic journey to Italy.
“We want to inspire our customers to recreate the culinary experience of Italy in their own homes. The delicious Italian favourites offer a journey of epicurean proportions, enabling the consumer to be adventurous in their kitchen and turnout traditional Italian dishes made with modern food sensibilities,” Ma’s Food Processing Managing Director Mario de Alwis elaborated.
The organic Italian range includes organic olive oil, Italian Russello Flour and whole wheat flour, organic pastas, whole wheat pastas and shortly organic pasta sacue . Prepared from wholesome organic ingredients, the new organic Italian range is certified by a reputed international body.
Products are handpicked by Ma’s Foods for its ability to deliver nutritional value, quality and superior flavour at a cost effective price. The organic pasta and organic whole wheat pasta is locally produced at the Ma’s Foods main production facility in Dambulla, using speciality pasta machines installed in collaboration with its Italian consultants.
The flour and semolina used in the range are truly authentic with grains grown by Sicilian farmers and milled in a traditional stone mill.
The new product range is available at the Ma’s Gourmet speciality store in 472 Thimbirigasyaya Road, Colombo 05, the ‘Good Market’ and shortly in selected supermarkets.
